Fees and Expenses
Adoptive applicants are informed of all expected fees and estimated expenses, as set forth in the Agency’s Adoption Fee and Service Agreement, and in the Fee Schedule, by being furnished copies of these documents and afforded ample opportunity to review and examine them.
The Adoption Fee and Service Agreement is not a contract of adhesion. Open Seas is prepared to review the Agreement, line by line, if necessary, with each applicant to ensure that the applicant understands the nature and scope of the costs involved, the schedule of payments to the Agency and to third parties, the conditions under which fees and expenses may be charged, waived, reduced or refunded, and that the applicant freely consents to the terms of the Agreement.
